Regarded by many as the most successful deer hunting family in North America, well-known trophy deer hunters Lanny, Shane and Lane Benoit of Vermont will bring their more than 100 years of combined experience to the The Great Outdoors Expo in seminars on taking trophy bucks under all types of conditions. The Benoits will also be available to speak with showgoers at their booth. They have been profiled in countless publications, including Sports Afield, Outdoor Life, Field & Stream, Deer & Deer Hunting, North American Whitetail and Buck Masters. They have authored two books on trophy whitetail hunting and produced two instructional hunting videos which will be available at the show.
HAWG TANK II FISHING TANK with professional Bass Fisherman Doug Strickland
Doug Strickland- A native of Elyria, Ohio since the age of 2, Doug began tournament fishing at the age of 16. As a spectator at the 2002 BassMaster Classic, he landed a seven plus pound largemouth bass that was the largest fish recorded for the month from Lay Lake, Alabama, including those caught by the worlds top competitors. He remains active in the Ohio B.A.S.S.
Federation as well as fishing various team and individual circuits. He is a lifetime member of Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (B.A.S.S.) and the National Rifle Association (N.R.A.). When not piloting his Ranger bass boat, Doug enjoys deer hunting with bow and gun and upland bird hunting with his English Pointer, Ted.
Doug will be on hand for the entire weekend conducting seminars on casting and catching various fish.
The Hawg Fishing Tank will be filled with various live fish that can be seen throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Marcia Rubin
A Native of Chagrin Falls Ohio, Marcia is a professional in the Women’s Bassmaster Tour. During her Rookie season on the our in 2006, Marica,40, ended up the year in the top twenty in angler of the year. In 2007, she has already broken the top 10 during the tour stop on Kentucky Lake. Herb Bloxsom:
A Hughesville native Herb has become a regular on “The Great ‘Outdoors” show with his Muskie Fishing techniques. An avid fisherman since he was young Herb started out catching Bass before he nailed his first muskie. Herb is also an avid ice fisherman.
