2008 Regulations at the Expo
1. Prior to setting up, you must check in at the Expo office,
located inside the main doors. All fees must be paid prior to set-up and
exhibit location verified before your display is assembled. An exhibitor's
packet will be distributed when you arrive at check in.
2. Your rental of space at the Expo is just that, the space for
your exhibit. Each booth comes with two chairs, a six foot table and a
waste paper basket.
3. Riverfront Sports will not permit driving vehicles in the building.
We will direct you to the door nearest your exhibit space when you check
in.
4. During the show security has been instructed not to permit
anyone in the building, including exhibitors, more than 1 hour prior to
opening. This insures additional protection for all exhibitors. Official
credentials must be presented in order to use the exhibitors' entrance.
No one will be admitted without them. Do not be offended if security asks
to see your exhibitor's pass and to verify its authenticity.
5. The ID tags assigned to your exhibit space are to be used by
you and those working in your booth as legitimate exhibitors. There will
be two exhibitor passes provided for each ten-foot exhibit space. Limited
additional exhibitor credentials for the length of the show may be purchased
for $10 each. If such credentials are desired and you can let us know
prior to set-up, they can be printed and ready for you when you arrive.
6. A reminder that goods and services from your contracted exhibit
space must coincide with our original agreement and subletting is not
permitted.
7. Any exhibitor planning to sell raffle tickets or have a door
prize drawing must conduct the drawing during the time that the show drawings
are held on Sunday afternoon. All tickets will be brought to the show
office where the drawing will be held and announced over the PA system.
8. Several area hotels have agreed to offer discount rates to
expo vendors. They are all close to Riverfront Sports and near several
restaurants. Please identify yourself when making your reservation as
an Expo exhibitor to guarantee the discount. Click

by the exhibitors from Expo visitors to be delivered by the exhibitors
from their regular place of business. Circulars or advertising materials
may be distributed only from the exhibitor's space and only for products
and services that are primary to the exhibitor's business. The management
reserves the right to restrict exhibits or exhibitors because of noise
or for another reason, which shall interfere with the best interest of
the exhibits as a whole.
6. Assignment of Space: In the assignment of space, the
management will be guided by the requirements of the individual exhibitors
and their choice of locations, maintaining a proper classification of
exhibits and appearance of displays. Management reserves the right to
rearrange the floor plan and relocate any exhibit.
7. Unoccupied Space: The management reserves the right,
should any space be forfeited because of non-payment of rental when due
or other violations, to rent such space to any other exhibitor. This clause
shall not be construed as affecting the obligation of the first exhibitor

before set-up.

done to exhibits by fire or any other natural element, nor will it be
liable for injuries to exhibitors or their employees. They also will not
be liable for damage to property in their custody, owned or controlled
by them, which claims for damage, injuries, etc. may be incident to, arise
fro or be connected with their use or occupation of space, and the exhibitor
shall indemnify and hold the management harmless against any such claim.
10. Security: Management will engage security during the
course of the Expo but assumes no liability for loss or damage by any
cause.
11. Destruction of Premises: In case the premises are destroyed
by fire, the elements, or by any other cause making it impossible for
the management to permit any exhibit or exhibitor to occupy exhibit space
during any part of the whole of the period, then under such circumstances
such exhibitor or exhibitors shall be obligated to pay for space only
for the period the space was or could have been occupied by such exhibitor
or exhibitors. If this were to happen, the remainder of the exhibit fee
will be credited toward the exhibit fee for the following year's Expo.
Management is released from any and all claims for damages that may arise
as a result of any destruction.
 |
12. Insurance: In all cases, exhibitors must insure themselves
against fire, theft, public liability, etc. All exhibitors must do so
at their own expense and must provide Certificate of Liability insurance.
The management will carry public liability insurance for injury to exhibit
visitors, exhibitors, their agents, and employees, which may occur in
the aisles and corridors of the exhibit hall. Exhibitors' employees are
not covered when on space rented by the exhibitor.
13. Prize Drawings, Awards, Etc.: Exhibitors may be permitted
to conduct prize drawings or make awards for signing of names and addresses.
The prize drawing must be handled by the management at a public drawing.
14. Sound Devices: The use of sound devices, megaphones,
loud speakers, side show tactics, or undignified methods of attracting
attention are prohibited.
15. Violations: Any violation of any of the terms and conditions
of these rules and regulations on the part of the exhibitors shall at
option of management annul the lease to occupy space. Therefore the exhibitor
then will forfeit to the management all monies that may have been paid.
16. General: All matters and questions not covered by these
regulations are subject to the decision of management. These rules and
regulations may be amended at any time by the management and all amendments
that may be so made shall be equally binding upon publication on all parties
affected by them as the original regulations.
